Infidels Jazz Social Music: Quincy Mayes Brazilian Soul Experience

The Quincy Mayes Brazilian Soul Experience is thrilled to present a special performance showcasing the diverse, Afro-centric roots of samba, soul, and funk. Featuring musical selections from an eclectic group of all Black Composers this evening is curated in tribute to the incredible stories, songs and legacy of Afro Brasil. This will feature selections from the legendary catalogues of Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Elza Soares and others. Quincy Mayes leads a brand new group of some of Vancouver’s finest instrumentalists, who will also be joined by a vibrant guest horn section and feature vocalist throughout the set.
