Hero’s Welcome is a community-focused pub located at 3917 Main Street in Vancouver. For over 70 years, it’s been home to the Local 298 Taurus Club. Hero's Welcome seeks to capture the energy of the post-war Canadian Veterans’ Club and bring it into a modern setting. Our goal is to continue the blue-collar spirit of the Veterans Club by creating an open and inviting space. We pride ourselves on offering affordable drinks and food that feature local producers whenever possible. Our room features a variety of bar games, including pinball, pool, skeeball, and darts, as well as one of Vancouver’s few analog photobooths. Through our community of partners, including local musicians, staff, and charitable organizations, we provide a variety of programming aimed at engaging and welcoming all.
