Infidels Jazz Social Music: Electric Miles

Vancouver’s Electric Miles Band has been together in one form or another for literally decades, featuring musicians that been exploring the electric music of Miles Davis together for 40 years. With a deep relationship and respect for the repertoire of Bitches Brew, In a Silent Way, On the Corner, Jack Johnson, Live Evil and more, these musicians are are all fearless improvisors and allow the repertoire to take them wherever it leads in the moment.
Featuring long time musical colleagues Bill Clark, Ron Samworth, Bill Runge, Brad Turner, Andre Lachance and Bernie Arai, this is one of Vancouver’s most popular progressive Jazz units for good reason as they bring the relentless groove, spontaneous interaction of the music of Electric Miles to every performance.
