For this one-night only performance, trumpet and bass trailblazer Feven Kidane will be paying tribute to the legendary Mandido Morris, a Vancouver-based percussionist known for his work with Gino Vanelli and Bruce Cockburn, and the founder of the ManDido Drum Circle at Spanish Banks. This band features some of the best this city has to offer, including: Feven Kidane – Bass Graham Ord – Sax/Flute (Original member of Mandido’s band) Ben Millman – Keys Yoro Noukoussi – Percussion Miles Wong – Drum kit Jonny Tobin – synthesizer This performance is part of Social Music, a monthly series presented by Infidels Jazz at Hero’s Welcome.
